So where are we? Still getting married, certainly! (Rosie just said "still in Countesthorpe because we can't afford to go anywhere!")
In fact, six months from now the vows will have been given, rings exchanged, even the speech will be given and the first dance danced! Husband and wife! Blimey!
I think the only thing that's changed since the last post - which we didn't realise was way back in July! Slap our wrists - is that we've booked our venue dresser! We've gone with The Wedding House based in Droitwich. We met with them in October and we were impressed with the ideas and how they listened to what we thought could work and how it could be implemented or altered. They're one of the preferred suppliers for Stone Manor so their advice is not to be ignored lightly.
We've not gone all out as we've got quite a lot of stuff that's been snaffled up from the local village group or Facebook. The issue we have now is figuring out what we have - we've been gathering bits and pieces and shoving them in the loft so while January inevitably goes on forever we'll be doing a little stocktake and working what we still need.
There's also the smaller details of the day to fine tune such as backing music playlists and band playlists. We've not even confirmed the running order of the day! So January and February will be spent holed up at home making sure everything is as we want it. And chasing those who've still not replied to the invitation!
